Wapsi Spanflex Medium

Spanflex is a flat, stretchable material that has taken the place of round rubber legs on our large nymphs and dry flies.  We use it for legs on hoppers and stonefly adults such as the chubby chernobyl, Gould’s half down salmonfly, and Rainy’s cat puke,  because they move like crazy on the water and do not deteriorate in ultra violet light like rubber does.  This is also the material used for the legs on the infamous Pat’s Rubber Legs, and will give your saltwater patterns that little extra kick you’re looking for. Spanflex comes in a hank of 6″ strands and available in size medium.
